Hi All
Please use this forum to introduce yourself.

Start a new topic for yourself such that people can then comment on the post and try to reach you if they want to.

While making a post here, kindly try to cover the following :

Ravenshawvian : Student/Teacher/Staff/Well Wisher
Year of joining the college :
Year of leaving the college :
Course(s) completed :
Hostel Name or Day scholar :
How you got to know of this site/Who refered you.

Also, please write a little bit about your present status, location etc.

It may be a good idea to put the name of a few classmates and hostelmates of yours such that some people may find it easy to remember you.

Note that this is an open forum and I suggest you refrain from giving out your email id or other contact details (unless you know what you are doing) since we dont want your emails ids to be harvested and/or otherwise abused.

Good luck and lets see things moving ...

Pati

Hi all,

Feels strange to introduce myself to my own college mates but thats the way life conducts its business, I guess. Anyways, its been three years since i left the college and expecting any of the present Ravenshawvians to remember old-timers like me is unrealistic.

My name is Saswat Sahoo. Joined +2 Science in the Ravenshaw junior college and then in 2001 joined the B.I.T.M. Though I was a day scholar, I spent most of the time in East Hostel annex (that tiny hostel beside the East hostel mess) where we planned and executed some of the best drama functions and events of our times. I passed out from the college in 2004.

At present I am staying in Mumbai. Here I am working as a Production Pipeline TD, which for the uninitiated, is someone who manages the technological aspects, writes programs, develops software, and manages the production flow (pipeline) in an Animation studio, which is a highly technology-intensive workplace. The company I work for is a Hollywood Animation studio based at Los Angeles. At mumbai, they have their only overseas subsidiary. In India, this is the only Hollywood studio. We've worked on movies like X-men, Fast n the Furious, Narnia, Superman, Garfield, Babe, and many other movies. Many of the movies have been oscar nominated also.
